Midori’s and Masao’s relationship has almost reached its end, when Midori realizes that she is pregnant. The couple unenthusiastically decides to marry, and over the course of the preparations they slowly begin to reconcile. In her second feature film, director and screenwriter Yukiko SODE shows her talent for telling a charming love story with memorable characters in an everyday setting.
Director Bio
Yukiko SODE directed her first short film in 2004. In 2008 her feature length debut MIME-MIME received two awards at the PIA Film Festival, leading to several screenings at international film festivals. After directing more short films, she completed her second feature-length movie GOOD STRIPES in 2015.
